A FlashLight That Runs on Warmth of Body!

Ann Makosinski, is  a 15-year-old student from Canada’s St. Michaels University School and she invented a flashlight that is powered by warmth of human body.

According to her, the human body can provide enough heat to power her created flashlight and  it can come in handy when you don’t have batteries or cells with you.
Her flashlight design uses ‘Peltier tiles’, an electronic component which creates energy when one side is heated while the other side is cooled. Ann also told that her flashlight would costs only $26 and it won’t require any power source outside the flashlight.

Makosinski has been chosen as one of 15 finalists for Google’s global science fair. The judges will choose one winner out of each three groups in september and decide a lucky final winner with a prize of $50,000 and a trip to Galapagos Island.
